ASHRAE110 Test System
The Cert-Pro Company ASHRAE110 Fume Hood Certification system is a hardware/software
tool which allows complete software driven certification of chemical fume hoods. The system is completely compliant with the ASHRAE110-1995 standard.
Featuring
full automation of all data collection, the ASHRAE110 fume hood system will provide
trouble free and accurate certification testing each and every time. Using this
system, you will be ensured that any trained technician can perform this
comprehensive test in a compliant and consistent manner. After all testing is
completed, the system is ready to print a variety of ASHRAE 110 fume hood
certification test reports immediately.
If you are currently using a variety of off the shelf software - or entering the
data by hand - you will be amazed of the ease of use and comprehensive nature of
this package. This software will turn your ASHRAE 110 fume hood testing into a profit
center rather than a major headache.
- The Tracer Gas Test allows fully automatic collection of all
fumehood tracer gas test data, directly from the spectrophotometer. The system can be
programmed for any
test duration and sample frequency needed. In the
standard set-up, the system will collect tracer gas test data on a 1 second
frequency for 5 minutes. Real-time graphs will display the current status of
the test as the testing progresses. Tracer gas tests can be overlaid on one
graph to allow easy viewing of the left center and right position test
results on one chart. Or you can perform separate charts for each position
as desired. An unlimited number of Fume hood tracer gas tests can be performed for each
certification record allowing documentation of combination sash test
results, or documenting adjustments made to the hood.
- The Inflow Air Velocity Test is fully automated. The system will
collect your fume hood air velocity readings from any TSI or Shortridge instrument
with an RS232 port. Additionally, if your instrument has datalogging
capabilities, the system will actually request each reading from your air
velocity meter, calculate the average inflow velocity for each sample site and enter the
data into the test grid - with no user intervention. The user can always
enter air velocity test data into the test grid manually if desired. The
software will calculate the average inflow air velocity and uniformity results
automatically.
- Menu driven fumehood smoke test results page. Using pull down boxes, the
technician documents the test results for all fume hood smoke testing performed per
the ASHRAE 110 standard.
- Sash Movement Effect test fully software driven, instructing
the technician in how to perform this test as it is performed. All fume hood
sash movement effect test gas
results are collected and entered directly from the spectrophotometer as the
test is performed.
- Sash Perimeter Scan Test. The system will time the
fumehood sash perimeter
scan test and collect the data as the fume hood perimeter scan test is performed. Audible beeps
will let the technician know as he passes the current maximum value of the
scan test. A chart is created as the scan progresses so the technician can
review the test results after the scan is complete.
- The Fume Hood VAV response test is fully software driven instructing the
technician how to perform the fumehood VAV test as the test progresses.
- The Air Velocity Trend Chart is a very valuable troubleshooting
tool. This chart will allow long term collection of air velocity trends.
Using a TSI datalogging anemometer or air velocity transducer, the velocity
trend can be charted over any desired time period and at any update
frequency needed. This is very important tool for troubleshooting those
problem hoods. You will clearly see VAV variations or other factors
contributing to hood failures.
- Fully Automatic ASHRAE110 Certification Test Report generation with the click of a button!
